From 4-8 July 2011, Flir ITC is holding the first of two training courses designed to prepare students for qualification as Level II thermographers. This course is for those who already hold a Level I qualification but who wish to deepen and broaden their knowledge about infrared physics, heat science, infrared measurement and its applications.
While Level I is principally aimed at new users of thermal imaging cameras, Level II is designed for regular users who wish to extend their skill and confidence in the technology to maximise its potential. The course includes measurement practice in various applications, reinforced by laboratory work and in-depth image analysis.
All ITC instructors are highly experienced thermographers. Not only do they have profound theoretical knowledge of the subject but also considerable practical know-how. As a result anyone attending an ITC course is guaranteed to benefit from a thoroughly rounded learning experience.
On completion of the course, which takes five days, the student will take an ITC certification test with the option to sit a further BINDT certification exam. The course will be held at the ITC Training North EMEA centre in West Malling, Kent.
In addition to the above, courses can also be run onsite anywhere within the UK and Ireland. More information is available at www.irtraining.eu.
