Lithium Ion battery production at critical stage

Mitsubishi Electric and guest speaker Paul Butler, CEO of the North East Automotive Alliance, are taking part in a webinar that will discuss the need for greater production of Lithium Ion batteries to keep pace with the rapidly expanding Electric Vehicle (EV) market.

The webinar takes place on Thursday, 17 March, at 10:30 am.

“The current growth of the Electric Vehicle (EV) market is underpinned by the need for a similar growth in Lithium Ion battery (LiB) production and therefore we see the establishment of more and more ‘gigafactories’ that produce them across the globe,” states Mitsubishi Electric.

The company, in conjunction with Butler, will explore the developments in the market and also the solutions in Mitsubishi Electric’s automation portfolio that can be applied in this space.
