Pilz Automation Technology is organising a Lock Out Tag Out (LoTo) training course that will give delegates a detailed understanding of the requirements of LoTo, particularly in relation to machinery safety - such as for setup, changeovers and maintenance. The course covers both legal requirements and best practice.
By the end of the course, delegates will:
As well as covering relevant machinery safety legislation and standards, the course will address energy source safety, unexpected start-up, and the LoTo process - including policy, development of procedures, tools and implementation. Practical examples will also be provided.
Pilz has developed this LoTo course for employees responsible for safe maintenance of machinery, including engineering personnel, electrical engineering personnel, maintenance personnel, health and safety managers, and production managers.
The first course is scheduled for 25 February 2015 and the cost is 250 + VAT per delegate. In addition, Pilz can run this course at a company's premises at a mutually convenient date.
