Low-maintenance compressed air filter is eco-friendly
SMC is launching the environmentally-friendly series FN4 low-maintenance filter range for applications requiring efficient filtration of both coolant and detergents.
These filters combines an eco-friendly reusable stainless steel filtration element with a back-flush capability, which means that both filtering and back-flushing can be performed in parallel. The element 's innovative filter plate and wave washer construction ensures that costly filter replacement is now minimised and industrial waste is eliminated thanks to its dramatically improved efficiency.
Further design features include a space-saving internal back-flush fluid reservoir tank within the FN4 's body, which eliminates the need for any external fluid tanks.
The FN4 Series can operate with flow rates up to 250 l/min and includes mounted pressure ports for both the inlet and outlet, enabling the easy installation of differential pressure sensors such as SMC 's series PSE200- X101 and PSE560 ranges.
With the development of the FN4 Series, SMC claims that it now has one of the most comprehensive ranges of filtration products to suit most industrial applications.
