Low-noise and low-vibration equipment for Europe

The aim of the event is to provide a forum where UK industry can consider the new opportunities for developing low-noise and low-vibration equipment in line with the requirements of the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Note that the event will also be useful for manufacturers and suppliers of sub-assemblies, as well as people who provide advice or guidance on design for low noise and vibration.

Objectives

1. Enable delegates to understand their legal duties
2. Stimulate debate on how best to fulfil those legal duties
3. Clarify the expectations of the HSE in supporting the supply and purchase of low-noise and low-vibration equipment
4. Help designers and manufacturers realise a market advantage through the development of low-noise and low-vibration machinery
