Pryor Marking Technology will show its latest Marktronic 3000 Integrator range on Stand D05, Hall 015, at EMO 2007. The new model, the i130-25, offers a greater marking area with a faster marking speed and can be integrated with a robotic arm to enable marking to be incorporated into existing manufacturing and production processes.
David Ray, technical manager at Pryor, says: "This compact, simple-to-operate machine will suit many marking applications. Via the multilingual user interface, operators have a choice of a range of different fonts and type sizes, as well as angular and arc marking, serial numbers, date and time marking. A typical VIN number can be marked within 5-10 seconds."
Other models in the range are the i50-25, i60-60, i150-150, i130-25 and i130-40, each with a different marking area ranging from 50 x 25mm through to 150 x 150mm. Speed of marking is dependent on the type of mark and material being used.
Powered solely by a standard 240V (110V available) electric source, all of these systems are claimed to be both highly efficient and significantly quieter than pneumatically powered systems. The lead screw driven marking head ensures that the marks made meet the rigorous demands of 2D Data Matrix code marking, up to a depth of 62HRc (800HV).
