Maxon catalogue describes customised design service
A new 12-page catalogue from Maxon Motor gives detailed information on the wide range of special customer-specific products. The Maxon modular system means that standard components - in various combinations - can be selected for an application. Maxon's special versions are used where the combination of standard products is insufficient. Proven knowledge is put to good use for special products.
Maxon Motor works with customers to develop intelligent gearheads and drives that reflect the market as closely as possible - from simple gearheads to complex mechatronic drive units. Customer specifications are quickly recorded and assembled using modern 3D modelling systems. State-of-the-art electronic simulation tools are used to create controls that direct the motors in the optimum way.
Most of the components used are manufactured by Maxon. This guarantees that the company is involved as closely as possible in the production processes. Maxon Motor also uses new manufacturing methods, such as ceramic and metal injection moulding, to produce small series on a low-cost basis. Various measuring and testing procedures are used to guarantee top quality; only by developing a 'complete solution' and proving it under all kinds of ambient conditions can the system be used in the client's specified - and often very demanding - conditions.
