Miniature ball screws: precision standard or custom units
One of the most comprehensive ranges in the UK, Abssac's miniature ball screws (1.8 to 16mm diameter) utilise precision ground ball nuts and either precision rolled screws or ground screw stock, depending on the repeatable accuracy that is required.
All of Abssac's precision ball screws are assembled and inspected in a temperature-controlled factory to ensure that control is maintained over fit tolerance prior to delivery. Combine this with the company's ability to supply the screws with end journal machining and it can be seen that Abssac is well placed to deliver guaranteed, fully finished, miniature ball screws that meet individual customer requirements. In some cases Abssac can even consider special ball nut designs to suit more demanding applications.
Available in steel or stainless steel as standard, a high-efficiency cumulative lead error of C7 can be achieved on rolled products and, depending on thread length and diameter, C0 for ground products.
