MiniTec's Profile System and iCADassembler software at 2012 show
MiniTec UK Ltd will showcase its Profile System range of modular profiles and ancillary components for machine base and constructional framing at the Engineering Design Show 2012. Designers and engineers using the show to research and develop ideas for production systems and machinery design will find a comprehensive range that includes components and sub-system products for safety and guard screens, workbenches, conveying and parts handling, automated manufacturing and test equipment, special fixtures, display consoles, positioning systems and even complex automated production plant.
With design in mind, MiniTec will also highlight its iCADassembler design software that allows OEMs, machine builders and system integrators to visualise, plan, and cost their own Profile System concepts, either in a standalone program mode that requires no specialist CAD knowledge, or integrated with their own preferred CAD software.
The free-of-charge iCADassembler software allows clear-cut menu selection with drag & drop handling of profiles, connectors and ancillary components to build and assemble elements on-screen, and generate parts schedules for everything from simple frame designs to complex automated machinery.
MiniTec will also demonstrate the ease and speed of assembly attainable with Profile System with its Powerlock fastener system that allows rapid system assembly and requires no pre-machining or pre-drilling of components - just a turn of an Allen Key is all that is required for fast, straightforward and neat frame construction.
