Misumi catalogues and information now available on DVD
Misumi's 2011/12 catalogue of automation components is now available in the form of PDF files on a DVD. Machine builders and designers can therefore choose the media that best suits their needs: paper catalogue, online or PDF on a DVD.
As with the paper catalogue, the 2011/2012 DVD includes 2546 new items on top of the thousands already offered - and the new items are featured is a special section that can be accessed via the on-screen menu. Furthermore, extra configuration options are available for 784 products, such as additional shaft diameters, increased lengths, and models with alternative tolerances.
The catalogue is divided into 58 chapters, with navigational aids such as an image index and colour-coding. On the DVD, there are major sections for:
- Components for Assembly Automation (Volume 1)
- Components for Assembly Automation (Volume 2)
- Components for Press Dies
- Components for Plastic Moulds
As well as the additional section for New Products, there is another for Products Highlights 2011.
Once the DVD starts and the menu screen is displayed, users can select the language they wish to use: English, German, French, Italian and Czech.
