Modular TopConsole for tailored man-machine interfaces

TopConsole is available in a variety of different dimensions - 800, 1200 and 1600mm and the new 600mm compact version. Installation opportunities have now been optimised across the range, giving an extra 10 per cent of space within the lid to provide more room for components compared with previous models. The lid also features a new closing mechanism design that uses only one point of contact, rather than the standard three, and is now integrated into the handle strip.

A new mounting plate system is incorporated into the lower part of the console. This can be slotted deeply and easily into the enclosure in a 25mm pitch pattern - even with 400mm-long variants. In addition, the sides are ready for system rails to be fitted for customised internal installation such as mounting flanges and system accessories.

Offering easier installation and improved user friendliness than previous models, the new TopConsole is modular and highly versatile. Connections to other members of the Rittal System family at the human-machine interface, such as the Comfort Panel and industrial workstations, can easily be made. TopConsole display units can also be deployed as standalone units in conjunction with wall mounting brackets.
