BOGE champions energy efficiency at Motor Driven Systems 2014

BOGE Compressors will be giving a presentation on improving efficiency in compressed air at the Motor Driven Systems Conference 2014. The conference will feature presentations from various industry specialists on how to save energy and reduce costs by applying a system engineering approach and understanding the latest technologies and legislation.

Carl Hawarden, Business Development Manager at BOGE Compressors, will focus on the strategies that are available to companies that wish to reduce energy usage and the associated costs when operating compressed air systems. The presentation includes a detailed explanation of the various areas within compressed air systems where improvements can be made, including energy consumption, measurement and monitoring, heat recovery and the reduction of waste.

This year’s Motor Driven Systems Conference will be hosted at the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre on 29 October 2014.
