New cable glands enhance cable routing options

Phoenix Contact is extending its range in the field of cable routing with new cable glands. The product range is even suitable for normal industrial environments as well as for hazardous ones.

New cable glands enhance cable routing options

The cable glands are made from nickel-plated brass or plastic and EMC versions are available with various thread dimensions. They provide a high level of IP68 and IP69k protection from environmental factors. This means that the screw connections can be used in a wide range of industrial applications in harsh environments. These items extend product groups such as the robust Heavycon connectors and the CES cable entry system.

This range also includes screw connections and accessory parts made from nickel-plated brass and stainless steel for hazardous areas. The cable glands, which have been certified three times (Ex e, Ex d, Ex nR), can be used in connection with non-reinforced cables and armoured cables and thereby achieve IP66, IP67, and IP68 protection. Thanks to numerous international approvals, the screw connections are suited to various applications, including the areas of oil and gas, the petrochemical industry, shipping, and offshore.
