New ranges of configurable XY stages
Misumi is launching 40 new XY stages in 2008, all of which are manufactured by Misumi Group's Suruga Seiki Co. According to the company, the XY stages have higher rigidity and precision.
Manufactured with 440C stainless steel, electroless nickel plating and low-temperature black chrome plating, these are high-quality products.
A Gothic Arch profile is used in both parts of the guide, giving four-point contact for the balls and, therefore, high rigidity.
Misumi's XY and linear stages can be configured to order, thereby minimising the amount of engineering time and machine shop time required to take a design from concept to assembly.
