New safety shock absorbers are double-ended
Ace Controls International is unveiling a new addition to its range of safety shock absorbers. The SDD Series is the company's first double-ended safety shock absorber, the use of which eliminates the need for a second safety device in many applications.
Especially suitable for crane crabs and overhead cranes, SDD shock absorbers are totally self-contained and maintenance-free.
Three standard sizes are available – SDD 50, 63 and 80 – offering stroke lengths from 200-1000mm and energy absorption capacities from 14.5kNm to 135kNm. The outer body is zinc plated for improved surface protection and all units have an operating temperature range between -25 to +65degC.
