Continued investment in quality people and quality products is certainly paying dividends for R. A. Rodriguez. As it records another year of increased sales, the company is restructuring its management team in anticipation of further growth in 2008.
The first confirmed appointment is David Hey, as Sales and Marketing Manager. This is the first time in the company's forty-year history that the need has arisen for a manager to oversee all product divisions. Until now, product managers have reported directly to the managing director but, with increased sales across the board, the need to change the infrastructure has become evident.
For seven years Hey has been one of those product managers, responsible for bearings. Before joining RA Rodriguez he spent seventeen years in direct engineering sales and latterly was European Sales Manager for Holroyd Gears. He comments: "R A Rodriguez is based on solid engineering integrity, giving customers confidence both in our products and professional support. Technically superior products and customer service to the highest possible standard - it is a good combination and one that I am determined to uphold."
