New Schrack DIN-rail sockets for PT, XT and RT relays
Tyco Electronics is expanding its range of Schrack panel relays and sockets to include a new series of premium DIN-rail sockets for PT, XT and RT series relays. These new premium sockets feature screwless clamps, allowing for direct mounting of solid wires without any tools, which saves installation time and operating costs. Stranded wires - with or without bootlace crimps - can also be used.
Further benefits of the new premium sockets include independently sprung double clamps per terminal, offering easy interconnection wiring, even with different wire diameters and versions. Jumper bars are available to provide quick interconnection of all clamps, on either the contact or coil side.
New premium sockets include a version for XT and RT series relays - one-pole 8A or two-pole 16A 5mm pinning (RT7872P) and a version for PT series relays - two-pole 12A (PT7872P) and four-pole 6A (PT7874P).
The fully-featured premium sockets are suitable for existing socket accessories from Tyco Electronics' Schrack brand, such as PTM modules, retaining clips and marking tags. Packed in 10pc environmental-friendly cardboard tubes, the new sockets are optimised to meet logistical demands of sales channels and customers.
