New series of caged-ball miniature linear guideways
R.A. Rodriguez is launching its own miniature linear guideway, known as the BM series. Four sizes complete this range, with overall heights of 8–16mm and carriage widths of 17–32mm; basic dynamic loading capacities range from 850-6450N.
Compact for discrete installation, this caged-ball design has high-precision Gothic arch raceway profiles for long life, low noise and the accommodation of high loads. The high moment load ratings of the guideways make them suitable for single-rail applications. Minimum vibration is assured by the quality of the raceway surface finish; this also contributes to the guideways' long and trouble-free working life, as does the sealed carriage with lubrication nipple.
Available in five precision grades with a choice of five preload specifications, the BM linear guideway series is also available in stainless steel. These products have been proven in Europe in a range of applications, including driven and manual positioning and X-Y combinations.
