NI names Robert Morton as new MD for UK and Ireland

Morton started at NI in the Inside Sales department, learning the breadth of NI products, and talking with and advising customers about their requirements and applications. He then spent time in the Applications Engineering team, developing the depth of his technical knowledge on NI products and supporting customers, before moving on to a role in Field Sales. Throughout eleven successful years in Field Sales, Rob developed his considerable knowledge and experience of NI technologies, markets and customers. He has progressed from a Field Sales Engineer managing a sales territory through to managing Field Sales and Systems Engineering teams, and playing a leadership role as a member of the UK & Ireland management team.

Morton succeeds Ajit Gokhale, who is taking up a position as International Sales Manager, continuing to work closely with Morton and the UK management team to ensure a smooth transition and to support the future success and growth of the UK & Ireland operation. Morton comments: "I am excited about this new opportunity to contribute to the success of NI here in the UK & Ireland, and I look forward to leading and continuing to work with the talented UK & Ireland team.
