ONYX OMB-M228 medical-grade CPU from Review Display Systems
New from Review Display Systems is the ONYX OMB-M228 medical-grade CPU Board with Intel Skylake-U Core i Series Processor. Based on the 14nm technology 6th Generation Intel Skylake-U Core i series ultra-low power high-performance processor, this board has been further enhanced with EMI pre-scan to guarantee UL/EN60601-1-2 compliance making it suitable for medical applications.
The board has two SO DIMM sockets supporting up to 16GB DDR4 SDRAM and includes high-end graphics for 4K and 2K resolution screens. High-speed data transfer is possible with two USB 3.1 ports and 4 USB 3.0 ports. Card slots available are 1 PCIe x4, 1 PCIe x1, an M2 and a half size Mini card slot. The 2 PCIe card slots unusually are mounted horizontally and not as vertical ports, which is the standard. Mounting these slots horizontally means that a low profile is possible without compromising the connectivity.
Designed to operate at +12 to +24V DC, this low-profile medical-grade board has a 7-year warranty guaranteed to 2022. This is a board with medical approval, additional ports and features that are not available for most motherboards
