Photoelectric slot sensors in a choice of formats
A new range of low-cost miniature photoelectric slot sensors is available from Pepperl+Fuchs for precision assembly machines. The GL range is available in slot widths of 2mm, 3mm and 5mm and in various body styles. It is suitable for a wide range of applications and various mounting positions.
The sensors are available in both cabled or connector versions. They have fast switching frequency and are able to detect very small objects. There is a choice of PNP or NPN outputs and a dual output for both 'light on' and 'dark on.' A bright and highly visible LED gives all-round visibility of the switching status.
The sensors have reverse polarity and over-voltage protection as well as high resistance to ambient light, and very low power consumption.
