Picking sensor includes 'pick to light' function
OEM Automatic is introducing the SSP series picking sensor from Takex. This is designed for installation on production lines and in warehouses where a number of different components are being location picked - and where correct sequential picking is paramount.
A key feature is the 'pick to light' function that can be configured to indicate the next pick or to highlight and signal an incorrect pick.
Ease of use and compact dimensions make the SSP suitable for retrofitting to existing installations or integrating in new projects where space is restricted.
The sensor can also be used for applications where a product needs to be detected as it passes through a particular area, such as monitoring falling parts as they drop through a reject shoot.
