PPMA seminar: Robotic Safety for Integrators
The PPMA is promoting its Robotic Safety for Integrators seminars, the next of which takes place on 15 August 2019 at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Coventry. Aimed at companies designing, manufacturing, purchasing and using machinery and production systems incorporating robots, the seminar addresses many of the issues relating to CE marking of complex assemblies. In particular, the Robotic Safety for Integrators seminar covers these two important standards:
- BS EN ISO 10218-1:2011 Robots and robotic devices. Safety requirements for industrial robots. Part 1: Robots
- BS EN ISO 10218-2:2011 Robots and robotic devices. Safety requirements for industrial robots. Part 2: Robot systems and integration
Other topics to be covered include: CE marking, hazard identification, risk assessment, risk reduction, safety, guarding, safety requirements, and safety-related control systems.
The price for one delegate is 395, though members of PPMA pay a reduced price of 195 per delegate.
This Robotic Safety for Integrators seminar complements the other seminars offered by the PPMA, including Machinery Directive and CE Marking, CE Audit, PUWER, Machinery Risk Assessment, Machine Guarding, and Functional Safety. These take place at venues around the UK and Ireland or can be tailored and presented at a company's premises. In addition, the PPMA runs various courses relating to managing people.
