The HSE has brought together in a new 'topic' on its website a set of advice, guidance and information relating to pressure systems. Pressure systems can range from steam-generating commercial coffee machines to large boilers - and many machines incorporate pneumatic or hydraulic systems that operate under pressure. Designers, manufacturers, suppliers, installers, users and owners have duties to fulfil in relation to health and safety of pressure systems, and the new Pressure systems section on the HSE's website aims to provide easier access to relevant information to assist with compliance, with separate sections for manufacturers/suppliers and users. Note that none of the guidance is new, but this is the first time the information about pressure systems has been accessible from a single place.
As well as providing basic information about pressure systems, the site explains the law, with information about the following European Directives and UK Regulations:

In addition, there are helpful FAQs (frequently asked questions) and access to resources covering legislation, definitions, further information and publications. Both HSE and external publications are listed, with several available to download as PDFs:
