Procter to exhibit Nelsa machine shop guards

Procter Machine Guarding is relaunching the popular Nelsa range of machine shop guards, backed by a promise of high standards of customer service. Visitors to the Safety & Health Expo 2009 (12-14 May at the Birmingham NEC) can see a representative selection of the Nelsa guards on Stand O21 in Hall 2.

Included in the Nelsa range are slide and swing-aside milling machine guards, just swing-aside milling machine guards, sliding lathe shields, saddle-mount lathe shields, lathe chuck guards, Safetispeed drill guards, magnetic safety chip guards, and grinding wheel guards. These are all available in a variety of sizes to suit the vast majority of machine tools in use throughout the UK. Where appropriate, the guards are supplied complete with interlocks for incorporation within the machine's safety-related control system.

Visitors to the Procter Machine Guarding stand will be able to discuss their machine guarding requirements with Procter's engineers, who can advise which standard Nelsa products are suitable for the visitor's machine tools. In the unlikely event of standard products not being available, Procter's engineers can explain the options for custom-designed guarding.

Procter's stand at the Safety & Health Expo also provides an opportunity for visitors to examine examples from the comprehensive yet cost-effective Satech modular perimeter guarding system.

Procter Machine Guarding will be on stand O21 in Hall 2. Anyone not going to the Safety & Health Expo can request more information about Nelsa machine shop guards by emailing or telephone +44 (0)2920 882222.
