R.A. Rodriguez names Military and Aerospace Manager
Since joining R.A. Rodriguez as Bearings Product Manager in 2007 Andrew Tilley has been responsible for many customers in the aerospace and defence sectors. He has now been made Military and Aerospace Manager.
The main products in Tilley's armoury continue to be Kaydon bearings, a range that has been central to the R.A. Rodriguez business for more than forty years, being used in numerous military and aerospace applications.
Over the years more product ranges have been added into the mix. These include a wide range of slewing ring (turntable) bearings - typically used for turrets on armoured vehicles - from Kaydon and other manufacturers; these can be either standard catalogue products or custom-designed to suit. Other custom bearings to meet special military application requirements are also available.
In addition to providing the right products, the company's continued success in this field can be largely attributed to its engineering expertise. This ensures every design and performance requirement of these special applications is fully addressed.
