The demands of modern mobile construction and mining equipment ensure that engineering teams must keep abreast of the latest engine system performance and maintenance products. To help impart such information to those attending the forthcoming bauma 2013 exhibition in Munich, Parker Hannifin will be staging a series of symposiums in an event entitled "˜The Summit'.
Over two days, this series of symposiums lasting approximately 60 minutes each will aim to share succinct yet vital knowledge with anyone interested in technology capable of delivering real impact on bottom-line operational costs and emissions. The bauma 2013 exhibition takes place on 15-21 April, with The Summit being staged on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 in Hall C3, Room C31.
The quick-fire yet highly informative sessions will cover a range of topical industry subjects. For instance, for those concerned with how their engine fuel systems can improve performance and reduce emissions with products developed from Parker Hannifin's Racor Division in Euro 6 applications, then these symposiums are likely to appeal. Here, subject matter will focus on improved thermal efficiency and cold start performance; automated water drainage systems; and integrated DPF fuel dosing systems.
Switching to total system health management for mobile equipment, Parker's European Hydraulic Filter and Condition Monitoring Division will provide a complete management approach for improving productivity and profitability. Dedicated symposium sessions will concentrate on new filter media "˜Quantumfiber' and how it supports improved performance; lower system cost due to integrated approaches; energy saving and system analysis in the field; and predictable maintenance by means of continuous condition monitoring.
In addition, there will be a symposium from Parker Olaer on developments in coolers and fan drive systems on each of the two days.
Engineers interested in attending any of the symposiums should register at www.parker-messen.de/bauma/form_en.php. Doing so will also secure a free entry ticket to bauma 2013.
