VTX is organised by OctoMedia Ltd, part of the Canon Communications group. Canon is a global organiser of events for the advanced manufacturing industries. VTX is held annually at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, and provides an educational forum for both expert users and those who have not yet considered the use of vision systems. VTX is held in parallel to the Mtec and the Machine Building and Automation exhibitions.
UKIVA Director Don Braggins says: "We are always delighted to welcome new members, and it is interesting to see that as well as our more 'traditional' members we are attracting more organisations who, like the association, are also involved in promoting the use of vision."
