Robust power sources for MIG, MAG and flux-cored wires
Murex Welding Products' range of Transmig industrial welding power sources includes the 326S, 406S and 406SW for MIG, MAG and flux-cored wire welding applications. They use simple three-phase switch and tap technology to produce reliable performance for applications up to 400A. The 406SW model also incorporates a MIG torch water-cooling unit.
The Transmigs have been designed as tough and stable power sources capable of withstanding use in industrial environments. Operating from a standard 415V three-phase supply, they provide a wide-ranging welding performance; for example, the 406S model delivers 50-400A at a 50 per cent duty cycle.
A combination of 40 voltage selections and two levels of inductance give precise control of the welding setting and excellent welding characteristics. Both the Transmig 326S and 406S/SW have digital voltage and current meters, and are supplied with removable gas cylinder trays, feeder swivel mounting post and work return lead. The digital meters feature a last reading hold.
The new power sources are also available as a MIGPAK industrial package with either the Murex Transmatic Lynx 2 or 4HD wire feed unit and the matching MX MIG torch.
