Schneider Electric executive committee evolution

Schneider Electric is announcing evolution within its executive committee. Luc R©mont, currently president of Schneider Electric France, is appointed executive vice president international operations. Christel Heydemann, currently director of corporate strategy & alliances at Schneider Electric, replaces him as executive vice president France operations. They will report directly to Jean-Pascal Tricoire, chairman & chief executive officer of Schneider Electric, and will be members of the executive committee of Schneider Electric. These changes will be effective on 1 April 2017.

Christel Heydemann

Christel graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chauss©es. She began her career in 1997 at the Boston Consulting Group. In 1999, she joined Alcatel where she held various executive positions, notably during the merger of Alcatel and Lucent. In 2005, she moved to the sales division of Alcatel-Lucent where she was in charge of SFR and Orange key accounts. In 2008, she was appointed sales director France and member of the executive committee of Alcatel-Lucent France. In 2009, she negotiated a strategic alliance with HP in the United States, and was then promoted in 2011 to the position of executive vice-president human resources and transformation. Christel joined Schneider Electric in 2014 as strategic alliances vice president with the mission of accelerating, launching and promoting IoT systems through the development of strong partner network. She was corporate strategy & alliances senior vice president since 2016.

Luc R©mont

Luc graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Sup©rieure des Techniques Avanc©es (Ensta). He began his career in 1993 as an engineer at the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA). In 1996, he joined the French ministry of the economy, finance and industry. He held several positions there, first in the finances department where he supervised relationships with multilateral development banks (EBRD, World Bank), and government equity interests in transportation companies. During his time at the French ministry of finance, from 2002 to 2007, he moved from a technical investment advisor, to a deputy director position. He joined Merrill Lynch bank in 2007 and became director of the corporate and investment bank of America Merrill Lynch in France in 2009. In July 2014, he joined Schneider Electric where he held the Schneider Electric France president position.
