Rittal's new SE 8 free-standing enclosure system is replacing the popular ES 5000 series (which will only be available until the end of November 2011). The SE 8 is said to offer maximum availability for mechanical and plant engineering, process technology or in building installations.

According to the company, switching to the SE 8 free-standing enclosure system will deliver benefits through savings in time and money as a result of reduced ordering, assembly and planning; this is thanks to the use of the TS system platform. Additional benefits include two mounting levels that offer more options and room for interior installation. Reduced parts usage and installation costs are available as a result of automatic potential equalisation, and the enclosures can be used in all industries worldwide. All versions are available off-the-shelf at any time.
