See Harwin at Aircraft Interiors Exhibition 2010
Harwin, the manufacturer of high-reliability connectors, is exhibiting for the first time at the Aircraft Interiors Exhibition, Hamburg Mess, 18-20 May 2010.
In particular, the company will be demonstrating its Datamate 2mm interconnection system that is suitable for ultra-high-reliability applications but which is priced in-line with commercial products. Datamate is already extensively used in aircraft applications including control systems and in-flight entertainment products.
Wolfgang Pohl, German Sales Manager, comments: "We are excited about the possibility of opening up new markets for Datamate and our other high-reliability interconnection products. Datamate is capable of ensuring signal continuity even in circumstances where high shock and vibration are experienced, which makes it such a good fit for aircraft applications. It is also a very flexible system, capable of carrying signal, power and coax in one housing, which is of interest to designers looking to save space, weight and cost."
