See how igus achieves high quality in bearings and energy chains

igus has produced a short video that highlighting its three initiatives for high standards. The company always ensures that all its innovative dry-tech bearing and e-chain systems meet the highest standards by passing its products through a series of tests, consisting of three internal company demands, before they are commercialised. As a result, engineers and designers can be confident that all igus' products are high quality and provide excellent performance.

Firstly, all products must live up to the company's popular slogan "˜plastics for longer life.' Not only must they be cost effective in the short term by offering customers a competitive price, but also in the long term by ensuring low maintenance properties, which in turn reduces common technical issues such as machinery maintenance, that is often responsible for costly unscheduled down-time.

The second demand igus' products must comply with is the company's set goal of being the number one brand in all product categories. Thanks to its online-life calculator, that utilises thousands of laboratory-based physical tests, igus always conducts extensive market research to make sure that all its bearing and e-chain products meet the required high standards.

Finally, all igus products have to live up to the company's commitment to quick delivery times; igus always aims to deliver any of its standard products in less than 24 hours, to ensure that customers never have to compromise on business productivity due to missing parts and overlong delivery times.
