See MiniTec Profile System at Southern Manufacturing

MiniTec will demonstrate iCADassembler with its choice of standalone program mode, requiring no CAD platform or specialist CAD knowledge, or its ability work in combination with users' preferred CAD software systems. The free software allows straightforward menu selection with drag-and-drop manipulation of individual profiles, connectors and ancillary components - with the ability to assemble these elements on-screen to realise designs for anything from simple machine frames to complex automated assemblies.

MiniTec's Profile System products on display at the show will include a selection of modular aluminium profiles and ancillary components that together provide the building blocks for safety and guarding systems, workbenches, conveyor and parts handling machinery, automated manufacturing and test equipment, special fixtures and display consoles, multi-axis linear systems and even complex production plant. The innovative Powerlock fastener allows rapid framing system assembly and, unlike competitive brands, requires no pre-machining or pre-drilling; just a turn of an Allen key provides for fast, straightforward and neat frame construction.

MiniTec will also show components selected from its Linear System range, which includes ball bushings, slide units and torque bearings, plus precision ground shafts and shaft supports. These components are often specified with the Profile System machine framing range to allow complete machine subsystems to be specified, designed and built from one source.
