See UKIVA at 2008 Vision show
For the second year running, the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) will be taking a stand at the Vision Show to be held in Stuttgart, Germany, from 4-6 November 2008. The association will be located at Stand 6E34 in Hall 6, close to UKIVA member Imaging & Machine Vision Europe.
UKIVA Director Don Braggins says: "Vision is the premier European exhibition for the machine vision industry, and we think it is extremely important for the association to have a presence there. Having a stand fulfils a number of purposes. Firstly, it gives UKIVA members who are perhaps visiting but not exhibiting themselves or with a European partner a point of contact. Secondly, it provides a location that members can use for business meetings during the show.
"Of course, we should not underestimate the importance of the stand to the association itself. Vision provides a perfect opportunity to attract more international members to UKIVA. Our International Membership category is designed for suppliers of relevant products who do not have a permanent presence in the UK or Ireland but who supply either dedicated application-specific vision-based products, or who supply to an original equipment manufacturer [OEM] customer base, obviating the need for local support."
