Seek Thermal's 19Hz thermal imaging camera from Conrad
Conrad Business Supplies has added the new Reveal FF (Fast Frame) thermal imaging camera from American manufacturer Seek Thermal to its rapidly growing selection of thermal imaging equipment. The rugged Reveal FF offers a wide 36-degree field of view. In addition, the integrated 300 Lumen flashlight is able to illuminate the smallest, cramped and dark spaces usually not visible to the human eye.
The 2.4 inch display with 240 × 320 resolution is able to capture temperature differences ranging from -40degC to 330degC. The accelerated 19Hz frame rate, more than double that of its predecessor, prevents out of focus images during movements. Heat sources can be accurately detected and measured up to 160m away and captured images are fluid - an important feature in security applications and for the detection of moving objects. The Reveal FF offers clear performance improvements when it comes to measuring leaks, energy losses and when utilised in many other applications in the construction industry.
The Reveal FF can be operated with a single hand and incorporates a multitude of additional features, while still offering the user a simple and easy-to-use device. An SD card slot and USB port enhance connectivity, and a rubberised casing makes the unit durable as well as helping to repel dust and water. A "quick start-up' mode allows for instant detection of temperatures, and the Li-ion battery lasts for up to 9 hours.
Until 15 June 2016 the Reveal FF will be exclusively available in Europe through Conrad Business Supplies.
