Amplicon is releasing their new Impact-R 4020S 4U short-depth rackmount computer. Utilising the high-powered Intel iCore processor, the new system is approximately half the depth of the existing 4U but still manages to pack in many features.
With a depth of only 302mm, the new Amplicon Impact-R 4020S system has been specifically designed to meet requirements where space is a critical consideration. Using only road-mapped hardware, the new shallow-depth system comprises a high-performance 4U compact chassis featuring an industrial-grade motherboard powered by the Intel iCore processors with housing for two industrial 2.5inch HDD or SSD.
In addition, the Impact-R 4020S series supports various operating systems from Microsoft Windows platforms to main stream Linux distributions. As with all Amplicon industrial computers, it can be tailored to suit your individual requirements.
Gavin Chalkley, Amplicon Industrial Computing Product Specialist comments: "The Impact-R 4020S series meets a growing demand for compact systems offering the performance and reliability of its larger counterparts."
