Sick (UK) is hosting a FREE educational technology day at Williams Formula 1, Oxfordshire, on 11 May 2011. The event will show attendees how they can increase profitability through applying sensor intelligence, as well as improve logistics automation and achieve practical machine safety.
Seb Strutt, a safety specialist with Sick (UK), says "We are dedicated to providing our customers with not only state-of-the-art solutions, but also the know-how to achieve the safest and most efficient working environments. The Sick technology day will give delegates a good working knowledge of not only the latest safety regulations but also how innovations in sensing technology can help to achieve compliance, enhance productivity and increase profitability."
The day includes a total of 18 lectures and practical workshops covering everything from the latest Machinery Directive to the remote management of sensors and how to enhance Lean operations. Each session will provide the opportunity to troubleshoot problems with a team of Sick experts. Attendees can choose which sessions to attend to ensure the day is tailored to their individual needs.
