Aimed at heavy duty applications, the fully sealed IS-120 has an IP65 rating and is built to withstand the high levels of shock and vibration that may be found in off-road automotive or heavy industrial equipment, but the reliable and low-cost switch is equally suited to lighter duty use. Existing applications include safe level position monitoring for truck bonnets, robot arms and storage vessel closures, where its mercury-free construction suits contamination-safe installation.
The IS-120 operates from a 48V DC supply with a 0.5A rated switching current. The compact unit measures approximately 42 × 15 × 28mm with simple 2-hole mounting and lead wire connection. Its operation temperature range is -40degC to +125degC.
