SKF is introducing the Lincoln PowerLuber 1880 series grease gun. This heavy-duty, top-of-the-range model has been designed to enable maintenance professionals to complete the toughest jobs with power and consistency, whilst minimising operator fatigue.
Featuring a redesigned, high-torque powerhead, the 1880 series grease gun delivers grease at up to 10,000 psi (690bar) in both high- and low-output settings for use in all lubrication applications. It also features a 20V lithium-ion battery, which delivers an even flow of energy, high grease output per charge and eliminates the slowdown associated with NiCad.
The 1880 series comes with a multifunction LCD as standard to accurately indicate readings such as battery level and grease flow (ounces or grams). The rugged and easy-to-operate grease gun's new three-point base keeps the tool upright and stable for easy handling without being bulky, allowing easier access to tight areas when lubricating fittings. In addition, the tool features a 91cm (36-inch) hose with anti-kink spring guards and comes in a heavy-duty carrying case.
Commenting on the Lincoln PowerLuber 1880 series grease gun, Tim Veal, Lubrication Systems Business Manager at SKF, says: "The 1880 series is the ideal grease gun for maintenance professionals that demand exceptional performance and further enhances the Lincoln PowerLuber range, which can meet requirements for the vast majority of lubrication tasks."
