Southern Manufacturing show will see Lee Spring's enhanced range
Following the official launch of a new catalogue of springs and spring fasteners, Lee Spring will exhibit at the Southern Manufacturing 2013 event at Farnborough International Venue and Events (FIVE), Farnborough, UK, from 13-14 February.
Chris Petts, Managing Director of Lee Spring, says: "Globalisation is resulting in metric becoming the universal measurement language and increasingly an industry standard. As our new catalogue shows, we continue to display our extensive product range in imperial and metric, but we also have the addition of some new metric-wire spring products, including REDUX Wave Spring and Torsion Spring designs."
The latest Series 19 catalogue demonstrates the complete range of over 19,000 springs and spring fasteners available from Lee Spring, including metric and imperial (inches) products. Chris Petts says: "With space at a premium, and assemblies continually reducing in size, there is increasing demand for products to be designed to work within smaller spaces. Our Wave Springs occupy approximately 50-70 per cent less space when compressed than comparable round wire springs, but offer equal deflection with the same load specifications. We will be showing some of these at the Southern Manufacturing 2013 event."
