Thin client trends explored in industry roadshow

SolutionsPT has recognised the growing trend towards thin client usage in industrial IT, mobile computing and terminal services, and plans to share its knowledge and experience with peers and industry chiefs.

Some of the hot topics to be covered include: cyber security in industrial systems, availability, and the opportunities to increase utilisation, performance and reduce costs.

There will also be live demonstrations of some of the technologies on the market and a chance to quiz some of the experts in this specialised area of industrial automation.

Robert Dinsmore, Product Manager at SolutionsPT, says: "In many ways, these are still emerging technologies with some myths and confusions surrounding them. We want to demonstrate how they are applied in industry and explore the advantages they can have for manufacturing and infrastructure businesses."

The roadshow is scheduled to run from the 15-24 October 2013. The events are free of charge and include tours of each venue, including Scotch Whiskey Experience and the Imperial War Museum in Duxford.
