TÜV SÜD announces schedule for Machinery Safety UCPD courses

The machinery division of TV SD Product Service will be running four sessions of its University Certificate in Professional Development (UCPD) course on European Machinery Safety this autumn. The first one is due to take place on 17 September 2012 at TV SD's offices in Billingham.

This UCPD course consists of five days' training, covering, in detail, the regulatory framework relating to machine safety, followed by a 16-week distance learning programme which allows participants to complete their final assessment using TV SD's virtual reality package.

Dates and locations for the UCPD Courses in autumn 2012 are:

  • Monday 17 September 2012, European Machine Safety Requirements - Billingham
  • Monday 22 October 2012, European Machine Safety Requirements - Solihull
  • Monday 19 November 2012, European Machine Safety Requirements - Fareham
  • Monday 3 December 2012, European Machine Safety Requirements - Scotland

The UCPD courses in European Machinery Safety are University accredited and thereby meet the highest standards. They also offer successful participants University credits that can be used towards additional formal qualifications. All courses can be booked online by visiting www.tuvps.co.uk
