Two-finger parallel gripper exerts a force of up to 110N

Schunk is launching the DPG-plus 40, a high-performance sealed two-finger parallel gripper for use with small components. This new model is sealed to IP67 and is therefore suitable for handling rough, dirty workpieces; even when working with powder or under water, protection is assured.

Two-finger parallel gripper exerts a force of up to 110N

The base jaw consists of a round section that is easy to seal, and a multi-tooth guide with excellent guidance characteristics. This combined guide is extremely stable, as the internal multi-tooth guide absorbs high moments, while the external circular guide absorbs forces acting vertically in the direction of motion of the jaws. With a drive concept adopted from the PGN-plus, and with oval pistons and a wedge-hook drive for the base jaw, the DPG-plus achieves very high forces of up to 110N.

A direct air connection is also possible without hoses, and the DPG-plus 40 can be flexibly attached on two sides in three screw-on directions.
