University-backed course: European Machinery Safety Requirements

TV SD Product Service has published the 2015 dates and venues for its University Certificate in Professional Development (UCPD): European Machinery Safety Requirements. This is a five-day course, with additional distance learning afterwards.

University-backed course: European Machinery Safety Requirements

This University-backed machinery safety training course covers all areas of European machinery safety requirements. Delegates will gain practical experience of carrying out CE Marking and PUWER assessment, while also understanding the role of EN standards and how to apply them to assist with legal compliance.

Following the course, there will be a 16-week period during which delegates need to carry out the distance learning assessment package contained within the course folder. Delegates must complete a PUWER Checklist, carrying out a minimum of 25 risk assessments and then a CE EHSR checklist, carrying out a further 25 risk assessments. These completed assessments must be sent to TV SD in both hard copy and electronic formats to make up the delegate's assessment portfolio.
