Video highlights the advantages of thin section bearings
A new video release from Kaydon Bearings shows the many advantages of its Reali-Slim and Ultra-Slim thin section bearings. It is the first in a series of videos that brings to life many of the company's engineering white papers.
Kaydon thin section bearings do the job of bigger, heavier bearings while reducing overall cost. They provide exceptional design flexibility while meeting the capacity requirements of a wide range of applications.
As well as showing the typical applications that benefit from these products, the video visually demonstrates the substantial weight and space reductions made possible by Kaydon.
When compared with a standard 6010 bearing, a Kaydon Reali-Slim saves 83 per cent weight and 85 per cent space. And when Ultra-Slim is evaluated against the same traditional bearings, its saving values are an impressive 99.9 per cent and 97 per cent respectively.
