18.5inch IP65 multitouch panel PC with waterproof M12 connectors
Advantech is launching a family of SPC-1881WP 18.5inch widescreen multitouch stationary panel PCs. With their all-encompassing IP65 certified design and Intel Core i3-4010U 1.70GHz Processors, the SPC-1881WP panel PCs are designed to provide easier operation and boost productivity in areas that require frequent jet washing.
A slender, elegant aluminium housing not only emphasises modernity but also provides all-around IP65 protection, superb mechanical stability and reliability. Waterproof M12 connectors and the integrated VESA connector ensure the PCs withstand high-pressure cleaning fluids as well as high-humidity environments. In all the applications where cleaning is required or where liquid may be splashed, or simply where all-around protection is required, the SPC is ideal as it and its connectors are protected against dust and water to enable them to survive the rigours of jet washing and scrubbing while they are mounted on either pedestals or pendants.
To further aid this, the new panel PCs feature a 16:9 widescreen format and, therefore, 40 per cent more screen area than 4:3 displays. Furthermore, with the addition of multitouch capabilities, they provide even greater control and improved viewing of SCADA information.
All of this is made possible with the inclusion of an Intel Core i3-4010U 1.70GHz Processor with independent graphical processing unit that supports Windows 10 and DirectX11 so it can handle more complicated and detailed graphics.
