Harting is launching new versions of its eCon and mCon 9000 managed and unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches for mounting in 19-inch racks. The new units enable up to 10 Ethernet clients to be connected via RJ45 or M12 sockets (D-coding) at the front.
The switches are specifically designed for use in industrial environments and support both Ethernet (10 MBit/s) and Fast Ethernet (100 MBit/s) systems. Line, star and mixed topologies are supported.
Each port on the Ethernet switches has an integrated LED, enabling fast and easy network diagnostics. In addition, all switches have a potential-free relay contact that can be connected via a DIN cable connector.
The Harting eCon 9000 products are plug-and-play Ethernet switches as standard. The Harting mCon 9000 product range has, in addition to the standard functions, the ability to be managed over an SNMP and web interface.
