Developed mainly as an accessory to the PIAB Vacuum Gripper System (VGS), the AQR 02 can also be used in any application where quick release of the product is required. This new valve combines the use of atmospheric pressure and a boost of accumulated compressed air to release the object. This is especially important when using big internal-volume suction cups in fast cycles or when handling very light objects. The air consumption is kept low by accumulating a small volume of compressed air right next to the suction cup. The AQR 02 requires no additional controls and is simple to install.
