AA Robotics joins BARA
AA Robotics is now a member of BARA, the British Automation and Robot Association. David Manby managing director of AA Robotics, comments: "We acknowledge that if the UK is to drive ahead with its manufacturing processes and embrace robotics, there should be one organisation to speak for the industry. Now that AA Robotics is leading the way in many aspects of automation and vision, membership of BARA is essential for our business and we are delighted to have been accepted as a member."
BARA, which operates as "The Voice of Automation", is an association of industry specialists and academic researchers that exists to promote the use and assist in, the development of automation in British industry. Through a series of subgroups its members share their knowledge, promoting new standards and technologies for safety engineering, promoting co-operation between supplier groups and furthering the cause of advanced robotics and automation in specific industries. BARA's mission is to advance flexible automation by the application of robotics and automation, which is an aim shared by AA Robotics.
